John Agather is a photographer born in Mexico and currently based in San Antonio, Texas. He first started shooting black & white photography when he was just 14, spending many hours in the darkroom and finding refuge in photography. His current artistic focus is on documentary and street photography. He is driven by capturing the moment and he is inspired by the greats such as Atget, Erwitt, and Cartier-Bresson. Agather is a member of the international photography community The Raw Society.

He is also a successful entrepreneur and an accomplished singer/songwriter with several albums to his credit.
